Intertween.*

The framework.

Start with Knowledge Objects, relationships and intertweens. Then follow learning, governance and operational roles into the precise specification requirements.

Start with an object, try the tools and plan implementation and adoption.

Technical documentation ↗

Read the specification, reference and profiles for precise requirements and definitions.

Three concepts for following knowledge

A Knowledge Object describes a particular source. Relationships describe how sources and contexts connect. An intertween gives a question or insight between sources its own identity so it can be examined and developed.

Insights can develop into reusable methods. How they should be evaluated and used is part of the continuing work. Skills and learning ↗

How the protocol fits together ↗

Full specification and reference wiki

The specification defines the protocol model and its rules. The reference wiki explains fields, states, roles and profiles. Standards mappings show how these parts relate to existing standards.

Relational Trace and independent verification

A history and integrity profile, with separate experimental schemas and a local experiment using synthetic sensor records.

How we document sources and examples

When we use real material, we identify its source and publisher, provide a clickable link and explain how it is used. We distinguish originals from our summaries, adaptations and interpretations, with dates and limitations where known. A citation does not imply that the publisher participates in or endorses Intertween.

Invented scenarios are labelled as such. Missing source details are stated explicitly. We do not alter a preserved source snapshot to insert a link discovered later.

Practical guides, example objects, the validator and implementation planning are collected in Tools & guides.
